Lost coins, a crash, a question? We're happy to help.

How is my progress saved?

Your coins, level, cities, cup entries and settings are saved automatically, on your device only. There is no game server, so your progress isn't stored online, and signing in with Apple or Google doesn't copy it anywhere.

  • Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data, removes your progress.
  • Settings → Reset progress starts you over as a new player in Madrid; your sound and haptics settings and your avatar stay.
  • Your device's own backup (iCloud, or Android's backup to your Google account) may include the game's data and bring it back when you restore a backup or move to a new phone, but we can't guarantee it.

Do I need an account? What does signing in do?

No sign-up is needed. The first time you open the game, it creates an anonymous account for you automatically.

In Settings → Account you can sign in with Apple (on iPhone) or with Google. This links your anonymous account to that sign-in. It's optional, and today it doesn't change where your progress is kept: it stays on your device. If you sign out, the game starts a new anonymous account on that device.

I'm moving to a new phone. Can I keep my progress?

Your progress lives on your old phone. If you move to the new phone by restoring a backup or with your phone maker's transfer tool, the game's data may come along. If it doesn't, the game starts fresh on the new phone, and we can't move your progress for you.

Where do coins come from? Can I buy them?

Coins are free. You get them when you start, from the free coins that refill every 20 minutes, from level rewards and cup prizes, from winning rounds and from optional videos. There is nothing to buy in the game.

Coins are virtual and have no monetary value: you can't buy them, cash them out or transfer them to anyone.

Is there any real money?

No. You play free virtual coins on rounds decided by the game's physics and chance, and no real money is ever involved: nothing you can buy goes in, and nothing of real value comes out. See our Terms of Use.

Where did my coins go?

  • A missed call costs all the coins you played in that round, including any partial wins.
  • A coin storm blows at set times of the day. While it does, your coins leak 1% every 5 minutes, also while you're away; a red chip next to your coins counts down to the next leak.
  • If your coins drop below a city's hold, that city locks again until you climb back.

Video ads don't load. What can I do?

  • Videos need an internet connection. Try Wi-Fi or mobile data and try again.
  • Sometimes no ad is available for your region at that moment. Wait a little and try again.
  • Ad blockers, some VPNs and private DNS settings can stop ads from loading.
  • Rewarded videos have a daily limit, and some have a short wait between them.
  • Make sure you have the latest version of the game.

If an ad played but you didn't get your reward, write to us with the approximate time.

How do I change my privacy or ad choices?

  • In the game: Settings → Privacy choices lets you review or change your consent for analytics, crash reports and personalised ads (shown where the law requires it, such as in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland).
  • iPhone and iPad: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Android: your device's Google settings, usually Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads), where you can reset or delete your advertising ID.

Our Privacy Policy explains what each choice does.

The game crashed. What should I do?

Crash reports usually reach us automatically (see crash reports in our Privacy Policy; where the law requires your consent, only if you agreed), so we often know about a crash already. If it keeps happening, email us with your device model, operating system version and what you were doing.

How do I delete my account?

In the game, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. If you no longer have the game installed, you can ask us by email. Both options are explained on the account deletion page.

Uninstalling the game removes your progress from the device, but it doesn't delete your account.
